Homework

Homeworks are due on Fridays (not every Friday though =). Please staple your homework and bring it to the lecture, not to the section. To guarantee consistent grading each TA will grade certain parts of a problem set for all students. More information on this will be given in the lecture.

Content of the sections

The sections are optional. We will talk about anything that was unclear in the lecture. Your questions will have priority. If there is enough time we will go through some example problems related to the problems in the homeworks but ask, ask, ... and I'll try to answer.

Questions to the TAs

Please post questions about homework, grading, etc. on the newsgroup that we created for this class (use e.g. Outlook Express to access the newsgroup). The newsserver is news.stanford.edu and the newsgroup of this class is su.class.linguist120. If you REALLY cannot access the newsgroup then you can email the TAs.
