I recently completed my PhD under the supervision of Dr. Jessica Cantlon at the University of Rochester. In August, I will begin working as a post-doctoral research scholar at the University of Chicago with Dr. Susan Goldin-Meadow. My research combines neuroimaging and behavioral techniques to study the development and acquisition of concepts.

In addition to my research, I have spent the last four years serving on the planning committee for the Rochester Brain Awareness Campaign. Each year during Brain Awareness Week, we visit local elementary schools to teach children about the brain. We also organize the Rochester Brain Bee for high school students and coordinate events with local groups, such as the Rochester Girl Scout Council. You can follow along with our outreach efforts on our facebook page or contact me for more info!
